Legacy of a Thousand Suns is turning 2 years old this month! A great deal has changed in the past couple of years: from raids, to content, features, zones, world raids, and more. With the Suns Anniversary just around the corner, expect a lot of fun, excitement, and adventure as the anniversary takes you to a journey the likes of which you never could have imagined.
Ah, but for those with a busy schedule, and can’t fully participate for an anniversary week.

It’s going to be a Suns Anniversary month.
Yes, that’s right, a month long event!
We’re pushing our engines into hyperdrive as the all new anniversary month takes you on a journey you’d never imagined possible. You love world raids, you got it! If you like Inception, how about RAID-ception? Treasure hunt you say? Illaria in a mini-zone? Comicbook contest? And who wants a Legendary Officer?
Suns’ 2nd year anniversary this month is ready for you, but are you ready for the anniversary?
World Raids Galore!
Suns is going above and beyond to celebrate its 2nd year Anniversary. After November 7, there will be one world raid a week, totaling in 4 world raids in November. Yes, you heard right, 4 world raids! The first three weeks will revisit past world raids that haven’t been seen for over a month, and crescendos into the final week with a brand new World Raid at the end of November. Suit up in your best armor and ready your vessels, Captains, because these world raids are all coming for you!
Raid-ception Event
I hear you like raids. So I put a raid in your raid, so you can raid while you raid.
Each week we will be introducing 3 new raid bosses, with the first containing the essence of the 2nd, and the 2nd with the 3rd. And maybe, just maybe, the 4th with the 5th, and the 5th with the 6th essence…This month will introduce a total of 12 new raids of varying sizes, challenges and loot. And each of the 3 new weekly raids this month will contain lab pieces that will update certain weapons, which when owned will increase the proc damage of the 4 major characters in Suns (Talia, Telemachus, Ragnar and Lu Bu).
Get ready to get your raid on this month!
It’s Elementary!
Ready your sleuthing hat, get your friends together and crack those ciphers in another exciting Treasure Hunt event! Can you collect all the components necessary to upgrade your Red Thunder into a more powerful weapon? Who will be the first from each platform to crack the case? Those first players who succeed in crafting the Red Thunder upgrade will be written into the history of Suns lore on their very own future item.
Anniversary Mini-zones
This month will feature 2 brand new mini-zones, accessible just after beating zone 3. For those that love Suns lore, you’ll love these Anniversary mini-zones even more. Both will explore the backstories of some of the memorable, fan favorite characters: Illaria, Flashheart, Rautha and more! What could they all have in common, however? Find out more this month, as we roll out the next two mini-zones for the Suns Anniversary!
Comic Contest!
In space, nobody can hear you scream.
But they can see you draw.
Well get those markers, crayons, paint brushes and tablets (or other similar drawing medium) ready, because November will feature another contest where you draw your own comicbook story based off the Suns universe! Draw your favorite characters, draw yourself in Suns, or draw both! This ain’t no fan-fiction, this is a fan comic, where YOU could be the star of your own Suns show. Be as short as you want it, or as long as you want it. Rules and prizes are listed in this thread, and the contest will run through the entire month of November to give contestants enough time to draw their creations, and end on November 30th at 23:59 GMT.
The Legendary Officer Awaits!
You’ve asked for it, and you’ll get it! The Legendary Officer arrives at the end of the month to finish off the Suns Anniversary. Meanwhile, 6 usable items will be scattered between all the November mini-zones and raids, which will be components necessary to craft this powerful officer. Who will be the first to obtain this officer? Those who are server first crafters will be immortalized into Suns lore via a future item.

Suns is really going all out to make it a memorable, month-long experience for players like you with all the aforementioned events, and some special surprises not yet talked about in this post. This is all for you, the players, because LoTS wouldn't be where it is today without your engagement, feedback and support. And because of you, Suns will continue on towards a wonderful horizon that shines brighter than a thousand suns!
Meanwhile, for those that are wondering about the Council recap, this will be forthcoming in the next few days. Lots of awesome ideas were discussed and presented during that weekend to help Suns evolve into a prosperous and exciting future.
